Dr. Randy Ennen is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in surgery of the eye and treatment of eye disease. He performs no-stitch refractive cataract surgery using the latest in implantable lens technology and laser surgery for glaucoma, diabetic retinal disease, and aging diseases of the retina. Dr. Ennen also performs refractive surgery, including blade-free Intralase, LASIK and PRK, using the excimer Laser. Dr. Ennen also offers ICLs—implantable contact lenses, for treatment of myopia.
Dr. Ennen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, Iowa City, Iowa in 1980, his medical degree from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri in 1984 and served his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri Columbia.
Since starting his private practice in 1988, Dr. Ennen has always been on the forefront of advances in vision care, offering the most technologically advanced treatment for refractive corrections and eye diseases in Fayetteville and Fort Smith, Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.

Dr. Schluterman was born and raised in the Arkansas River Valley. He is an honors graduate of Subiaco Academy, University of Central Arkansas, and Northeastern State University College of Optometry. During Dr. Schluterman’s doctoral program he received extensive training in every aspect of comprehensive eye care. He furthered his clinical experience by performing rotations that emphasized: diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, treating eye infections, and surgical pre and post cataract and LASIK care. Dr. Schluterman also completed a specialty contact lens fitting program at the Vistakon Vision Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, and received an award for clinical excellence in contact lens fitting at the Oklahoma College of Optometry. Member of the Arkansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Schluterman enjoys the outdoors and cheering on the Razorbacks, but most of all spending time with his wife, Rachael, and four kids, Katie, Carter, Max, and Will.
